Let's Walk and Talk on the Wild Side

Explore the Dublin Way in a different way and with a nice company. The group Let’s Walk and Talk is welcoming everybody that would like to join them. Let’s Walk and Talk is a way to make friendship while discovering the treasure of Dublin City.

The special occasion is the visit of Dublin Bay “Walk on the Wild Side”. An interesting and easy walk will be in the special company of the Dublin City Council’s Biodiversity Officer, Mairéad Stack. The walk will explore the rich abundance of animal and plant life in and around the bay. Moreover Ireland is famous for bird watching and a binocular will be ideal.
The program is full of appointments:
“Winter Wildlife on Bull Island” on Wednesday, 18th February. Meet outside Raheny DART Station at 2pm.

“Winter Waders at Sandymount” on Thursday, 26th February. Meet outside Sandymount DART Station at 2pm.

“Poolbeg Nature Walk” on Saturday, 28th February. Meet at the entrance to Sean Moore Park, Beach Road, Sandymount at 12pm

Let’s walk and Talk has a weekly program, too. It is very interesting and has fixed appointment point, is called “Weekly Walks”. The walk usually last 90 minutes and is friendly conducted by a leader that will cheer everybody up.
Another special occasion is celebrated “The Fair-trade Fortnight”, from the 23rd of February to the 8th of March, and in order to contribute the group will participate with “Anyone for coffee?” In this occasion during the weekly walk the Fair-trade coffee and drinks will be served.
