Celebrate garden life

Following the great success of the last years the Bloom Day is celebrating its 3rd Edition. A world of gardens can be discovered, from new planting techniques, spectacular garden shows, hidden plants, to various activities designed to entertain the whole family...all concentrated in few days! It’s a source of fresh and blossom ideas that will be great for all the year long.

All the family can participate: there’s a zone dedicated to “Family Fun and Learning” where Imaginosity, the Dublin Children's Museum, will show people around the theme "Good to Grow".
At Bloom days will be full on entertainments: arts and craft, artisan food market and spectacular Show gardens. Bord Bia, the Irish food board, will host the event “The Horticulture for life” exhibition, focussing on the everyday life impact of growing your own plants.
Another section is dedicated to the "Community garden", a new phenomenon that is becoming contagious all over Ireland , especially in the cities; it’s important not only from a recycling point of view, where all the food waste is transformed in compost, but also a social point of view, as it support strengthening communities and social inclusion.
The best suggestion on what grow in your garden and when it can be discovered in “The Best In Season Garden”.
